I am just sitting around waiting for T to get home....and all I keep thinking about is a blue moon. I usually do not crave beer, but tonight it just feels right! That is the goal for tonight!
Day 2 - Two days in a row! I have being working out once in a while, but not often enough. So last week I decided that if I write up a work out plan, I will stick to it. So I am on day 2. The main idea behind my workout plan is Cardio and Yoga. I really do not like Yoga, but I know that it is really good for you and will help me relax. My husband says I stress out too much. Well no wonder I stress out, I have a 5 month old puppy, drive 1 hour to work each way for a pretty new job, and want to buy a million dollars worth of stuff for our house with just a penny!! It wouldn't make sense for me not to stres out! So I am going to try to track my progress through my blog. So far so good. I did cardio and lifting (shoulders, triceps and biceps) yesterday and then today I did a Yoga workout. Stay Tuned...
My goal is to be able to get back into P90x shape!
Here are the rules for anyone who hasn't played yet:
The rules are:
1. Open a document or file folder.
2. Click on the fifth folder.
3. Click on the fifth photo.
4. Post the photo and describe it.
5. Tag five other bloggers for the Meme.
This picture is of Megan Kane (one of my good friends) when she was in grade school. I laugh that this is the photo that ended up being chosen because this is one of the most embarrassing of her.
I don't know 5 people yet..
1. Maven, When Lives Collide
so i just have 1. Sorry.
The title of my blog was made from my friend Maven. It is telling nothing but the truth. I live with my husband TK, friend B, and dog Carlo. ALL MALES!! I love spending time with all of them, but it can get a little too much after awhile and I definitely feel outnumbered. TK and B leave me twice a week to go to Aikido. This means that I am by myself with Carlo and cannot get anything done around the house. Carlo is still a puppy and is a pain my a$$. But I love him!!
We bought the house last March, and I still feel like I am always behind in getting things done. The laundry piles up, the bathroom is dirty, the island has mail all over it, the pictures aren't hanging on the wall yet (except for the few that TK hung up for me last weekend :) THANKS). It is a never ending battle to stay ahead. I was warned before it all started, but didn't think I would get so aggravated about it. As TK says, "just relax, everything will get done". That saying just pisses me off, but is true. It will get done. I guess I just have to work on my patience.
My sister and her husband are moving back to NJ after a quick stint in California. They bought a house and are coming home to stay. I cannot wait. She will be home in the beginning of April so the countdown is on!
I never thought that I would start a blog. But now that I am married, what better way to track this wonderful and exhausting experience. For better or for worse as they say. It's only been 5 months and I know the definition of that short saying. TK and I have known each other for a very long time. We went to grade school, high school and college together. Although it hasn't been all smiles and laughter, we managed to work through everything and get us to where we are today. The road ahead isn't going to be smooth all the time, but that is what makes it fun!
